Secretary General, Hong Kong Paediatric Foundation | Honorary Clinical Associate Professor, Department of Paediatrics and School of Public Health and Primary Care, The Chinese University of Hong Kong

Dr. Lilian Wong was graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) and attained further training in Adolescent Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco, United States and Master of Public Health at CUHK.

Dr. Wong has served both public and private sectors for 25 years with special interests on adolescent medicine, child protection and child development and involved in clinical research and teaching in paediatrics and public health. Internationally, Dr. Wong has been the President of the International Chapter of Society for Adolescent Health and Medicine and Regional Vice President of the International Association for Adolescent Health. She works closely with the International Pediatric Association, Asia Pacific Pediatric Association (APPA) and American Academy of Pediatrics. Currently, she serves in APPA Standing Committee and the Ethics Committee.

Locally, she has been the President of the Hong Kong Paediatric Society, currently the Secretary General of Hong Kong Paediatric Foundation and Member of Commission on Children in Hong Kong. Dr. Wong has actively promoted child advocacy, children’s rights and global child health. In conjunction with other healthcare professionals, she has submitted the first “Proposal on Child Health Policy for Hong Kong” to the HKSAR government in 2015.
