CHAT, IMH

Yi Feng is a Youth Support Worker at the Community Health Assessment Team (CHAT), where he attends to young people in distress and contributes to mental health literacy raising efforts. Trained in social work, psychology and solution focused practice, he likes to do ‘everything with mental health’ and has been called the ‘mental health guy’ by friends. He’s fascinated by the intersections between culture and mental health, and seeks to improve his cultural competency. In his free time, he mentors youths taking action to tackle stigma in the community.

Why does mental health matter to you?
“Because there’s no health without mental health.”
