Dr. Tim Li is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at CUHK. His research interests focus on digital mental health, AI, and natural language processing. Dr. Li has authored more than 50 peer-reviewed articles in international journals on these topics. Before joining CUHK, he worked as an AI engineer in R&D companies, where he gained substantial experience in designing, developing, and evaluating AI systems for mental health purposes. Dr. Li received the INFORMS ISS Design Science Award in 2020, and he has obtained research grants to advance his work on AI applications for mental health assessment and intervention.
