Kris Lok is an Associate Professor at the University of Hong Kong’s School of Nursing and an Adjunct Visiting Fellow at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. A registered dietitian and certified breastfeeding consultant, she specializes in maternal and child health, with a focus on infant feeding and breastfeeding. Her research explores how preconception nutrition impacts pregnancy outcomes and neonatal health, including gestational diabetes and early feeding practices. She has led multiple large-scale randomized controlled trials to improve maternal and child health, and her work aims to inform public health policy and enhance perinatal care. Dr. Lok is an Academy Fellow at the World Cancer Research Fund International and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Public Health, and she actively collaborates with research groups across Hong Kong, the UK, the U.S., and beyond.
