Travel Tips for International Travellers to Hong Kong
Currency: Hong Kong Dollar (HKD). Credit cards are widely accepted, but you may want to carry some local cash for convenience. Taxis and some restaurants do not accept credit card payment, only cash.
Language: The primary languages are Cantonese and English. Most signs and announcements are bilingual.

Airport: Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) is about 30 minutes away from Hotel ICON by taxi.
Taxis and Uber are both available. Approximate rates are as follows:
Uber: ~HK$123.04
Taxi: ~HK$118.27
Please note that Taxis only accept cash, not credit card payment in Hong Kong, unless you order one via an app
(e.g. taxis can be ordered via Uber).
The MTR (Mass Transit Railway) is the most efficient way to get around the city.
