This is Dr Pamela Tin
Pam has a PhD in public health and has published work in reputed international peer-reviewed academic journals. Before joining the Chief Executive’s Policy Unit, she worked at a local public policy think tank, leading a team of professional researchers dedicated to health policy research and advocacy in Hong Kong. The team worked to drive meaningful change through evidence-based research on a range of important topics, including health system transformation, healthcare manpower planning, health financing, end-of-life care and mental health. Notably, the team published the policy paper ‘Fit for Purpose: A Health System for the 21st Century’ in 2018, which was named ‘Best Policy Study/Report Produced by a Think Tank’ by the University of Pennsylvania Think Tanks and Civil Societies Program ‘2019 Global Go To Think Tank Index’ alongside 162 think tank papers globally. Pam was also a member of the Advisory Committee on Mental Health of the HKSAR Government. Her current work at CEPU facilitates internal deliberations to assist the HKSAR Government in formulating forward-looking policies.
