This is Dr Tina Chung
Dr. Tina Chung is a Registered Social Worker and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of California and has worked for the Department of Mental Health of Los Angeles as a psychiatric social worker and at community mental health agencies in outpatient and inpatient settings. Tina had worked extensively in San Francisco and Oakland, California, in community development with at-risk children, immigrant, and refugee families. She has been an primary teacher in the “inner city” public schools of East Harlem, New York. Currently, she is part of a group practice at Oasis Hong Kong Centre of Counselling and Psychotherapy.
Tina is a wife to Ivan, and mother to two lovely and special little boys, Mattias and Izaiah. Mattias has special needs, being diagnosed with 13Q Interstitial Deletion. His little brother, Izaiah, was diagnosed during pregnancy with Trisomy 18 (Edwards Syndrome), which is a severe genetic anomaly with a “fatal” prognosis. Izaiah lived 7.5 months until March 2018, and his precious life story has touched the hearts of many.
