Professor of Psychiatry, The London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM)

Professor Dixon Chibanda is a professor of psychiatry and global mental health at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and at the University of Zimbabwe. 

He is  the founder of the Friendship Bench, a low intensity psychological intervention that trains community grandmothers to deliver cognitive behaviour therapy from wooden part benches in communities in Zimbabwe and beyond.
