Jianping Wang is Professor of Psychology and Psychiatry, and also serve as Vice Chair of Clinical and Counseling Psychology at Beijing Normal University. She is a Fellow and Certified CBT Therapist by the Academy of Cognitive Therapy, Member of the Beck International Advisory Committee, Vice-Chairman of the CBT Committee of the China Mental Health Association, and Member of the Standing Committee of the Clinical and Counseling Psychology Registration System Under the Psychology Society of China. She have published over 200 peer-reviewed papers and authored 5 sets of university text books (CBT, Abnormal Psychology, Psychopathology, Grief, Psychosocial Oncology) and spearheaded the translation of 60+ English books. She is recognized internationally for advancement of CBT training and has been providing clinical services to individuals across the lifespan for over 40 years.
